The controls below the canvas allow you to customize your fireworks.
Launch Options controls the initial speed and size.
Speed sets the initial launch speed.
Positive speeds go up, negative speeds go down.
Angle sets the initial launch angle, relative to the positive y-axis.
Fuse sets the length of time before the firework explodes.
Radius sets the radius of exploded particles (in pixels)
Length sets the length of teardrop-shaped particles (in pixels).
Colors allows you to select the color(s) of the fireworks.
Shapes lets you choose the type(s) of explosions.
Environment defines the external forces that act on particles.
Wind Speed sets the speed of wind that pushes particles in the
x-direction.
Positive winds blow right, negative winds blow
left.
Gravity sets the acceleration due to gravity in the
y-direction.
Positive gravitaty goes downward, negative gravity
goes upward.
Air Resistance determines whether air resistance should affect the motion of particles.
Flip X/Y, if checked, will make the x-direction vertical and the y-direction horizontal.
Advanced Options modifies more specific properties of the fireworks.
Duration sets the length of time for which exploded particles remain visible.
Explosion Speed sets the base speed of particles after an explosion.
Bouquet Particles sets the number of particles in a Bouquet explosion.
Ring Particles sets the number of particles in a Ring or
Crossette explosion.
This also defines the number of particles
per ring in Peonies and Dahlias.
Crossette Bursts sets the number of particles that each Crossette particle splits into.
Spiral Particles sets the number of particles in a Spiral explosion.
Spiral Loops sets how far a Spiral explosion will rotate (in
360-degree rotations).
Positive loops go clockwise, negative
loops go couterclockwise.
Peony/Dahlia Rings sets how many rings are in each Peony or Dahlia explosion.
